Sat fun...

Still remember my previous post on the Yellow Ribbon Walk? Well as I said I was involved because of the volunteer group i'm in...i din not participate in the walk because i was helping at the carnival...

So early in the morning by 8.30am, i'm at Pasir Ris Park already...*yawn*...feel so sleepy cuz i woke up very early...

We were in charge of selling badges and there were also hand-made jewellery at our stall...all went well as we managed to sell quite a bit of badges...sales were good...my only complaint is the weather as that day was so hot and humid... :-p

Of course, we volunteers also have our own badges to show who we are...


See the wall behind our stall...we also have little slips to let all to write a little message os encouragement to the ex-offenders and their families...


And not forgetting, Tie-A-Yellow-Ribbon...the symbol of forgiveness and welcome back to all who want to turn over a new leaf...

After the event ended, I was so hot and tired...still gotta meet a friend...and evening still got an event organised by Ulu Pandan Toastmasters Club - it's really enriching and interesting, not only did i had fun, i also learnt new things...i learned a lot of words which we think is common had been in fact not really pronounced correctly...words like morale (the beginning sound should be "mer", not "mor"), comment (the beginning sound should be "ker", not "kor")...interesting, right?

Out and running ard for more than 15 hours...so tired...by the time my colleagues drove me home, i almost zzzzzz...
