I hate Monday morning rush...

I simply hate taking the public transport on Mon morning...today got out slightly earlier than usual for Mon...waited for 55 along with a lot of other people.

10 minutes later still no sign of 55 so i decided to cross over the road to take 261...got stuck at the traffic light and have to watch two 261 come and go...arghhhhh...

261 should be quite frequent since it is a feeder bus...so wait lor since there is no sign of 55 yet...10 minutes later I am still waiting for 261 and 55...see whichever comes first...and right now anxiety and frustration builds up...

Finally after 20 minutes of waiting 55 comes first...at last...managed to squeezed up the bus...lucky me cuz there was a crowd trying to get up the bus too...but there was this lady who squeezed up the bus and stood at the steps. Where she standing prevented the bus driver from closing the door...so bus driver politely asked her to wait for the next bus...she just simply refuse to budge and "argued" with the bus driver...(i was thinking - oh boy, get this over and done with and just move on la...not me only but a lot of people is running late)...the "drama" went on for abt 5 to 10 minutes before the lady gets off...not because she has realise her inconsideration but because another 55 (quite empty) has come...that's not end of story ok...the @#!& bus driver must have too much time also..."crawling" all the way to the mrt station...can u imagine it took me more than half an hour to reach the mrt station...

Why can't some people just think for others...and when people talk to you politely you do not snap or shout back or talk back rudely...

Had such a lousy start...angry...

Today in office went to read a CEO's blog today...yes, his blog was featured/mentioned in the newspaper...none other than NTUC CEO Mr Tan Kin Lian...maybe i should be like him - provide advice and talk a lot on financial planning and insurance on my blog...hee hee hee...so wat do u think...anything u wanna ask, start ask now...hee hee

But i do agree with what he said in one particular blog about hospital plan...one insurer has introduced a plan that says "as charged"...it is not necessary good...it will cause a rise in hospital bills, resulting in subsequent increase in premiums...esp after hearing someone commenting that Great Eastern CPF-approved medical scheme is the louiest amongst all...I can only say pls work hard on your maths...

Which is higher - $850, $830 or $800?? $10,000, $9,400 or $8,200??

Even a kid could tell you which is higher. I can only say the highest amount is what GE offers as compared to other insurers and we are still lower in premium. Of course the fourth company offers "as charged". But just look at the premiums at old age, it can come up to $6,000 a yr...and note that even with the high premium you can't claim your hospital bills in full because of co-insurance and deductible...for much less than $6,000 I can have a plan that can pays every dollars and cents of my hospital bills...You can check out more details of CPF-approved medical schemes at CPF or MOH website.

Disgusting disgusting disgusting...yucks...

Oops..i did it again...this post was supposed to be posted earlier...hee hee
>>>>>>>

Was on my way home...walking towards the lift and then i saw a big black mass on the wall...eeks...look like some kind of insect...and it's moving...aahhhhh...most should know that i freak out at most insects, bugs, whatever la...it's too big to be a cockroach, too short to be a centipede...

What to do...have to walk that way to the lift or have to choose to walk one big round...ok ok so i told myself dun panic, it's not going to attack me...as i got closer to the wall, guess what i saw....two cockroaches mating...arghhh...the number one thing that freak me out...no wonder just now how i look at it it does not look like a cockroach cuz it's two cockroaches stuck together...yucks...i just scramble my way up the stairs, into the lift. I did not even bother to open the letter box. Eeks...yucks...disgusting...think i gotta go wash my eyes...wahahaha

Anyway, had a long and tired day...but i wanna to finish my show...now got hooked onto the korean period drama "Jewel in the Palace" ("Da Chang Jin")...quite nice and refreshing from the usual contemporary korean drama...at least i get to learn a bit more about korea history and culture...hee

One more day to Harry Potter...I WANT MY HARRY POTTER!!!

YES...yes...yes...one more day to the new Harry Potter book...will be popping by to check it out tomorrow...too bad my sis not going for any fair this year...so no free copy for me...very "gek sim" leh...last year I bought my fifth volume already then she go trade fair in US and bring back a free copy...*bang wall*...the only consolation is the extra book I have is limited edition...specially designed cover for the event and worldwide only 5,000 copies...

And today my throat feel funny...why?? Because I got big tonsils...i have what the doctor call naturally large tonsils...so even a little infection will cause a lot of discomfort...but thanks God, it's not that serious according to the doctor...now i juz have to drink lots of water and no heaty food for me...actually tonsils is good in a way cuz it's one of the first alarm to tell you that you are falling sick...

And now, the biggest news is the NKF scandal...my mum was still asking me today am i still donating to NKF...my ans - NO!!! Good for ST to create such public awareness. For a so-called charity organisation u dun need a building that cost millions to build, u dun need to fly first class, u dun need expensive toilet fittings...and in the end where does all these comes from - the public, who think they are doing it for a good cause. But I guess I still have one question - in the end, how much of the money really goes to the patients?? From what is published, for kidney dialysis, if the family (spouse, children etc inclusive ok) combined income is more than $3,500, NKF won't accept you lor...even with NKF subsidy you still need to pay around $1000 plus every month...and sorry to say, not even your Medishield can do much...let's be realistic la, a visit to Singapore Department of Statistics will tell you only a handful is in the household income less than $3,500 range...

Let us not be affected by this incidence...hope all charity organisation learn from it...there are still a lot of peopla out there in need of our aid...

Colorgenics

Came across this site and find that it is very accurate...try it...www.colorgenics.com

Below are my results - basically it tells how u feel right now :

You have a vivid imagination and this is good. Great inventors, explorers all had inventive, imaginative minds. Your friends and acquaintances may consider you over-imaginative and given to fantasy or day-dreaming. So what? This is a part of your character and charm.

Being a somewhat gentle, emotional and sensitive person, you are at this time experiencing a considerable amount of tension. What you really need is someone who can be close to you and to listen to what you have to say.

The situation at this time is one of considerable distress. You feel trapped and you are looking for some way out. You can find solace in the arms of someone who cares so long as there is no long-term emotional involvement.

From every direction there appear to be unwarranted restrictions on your freedom of action and this is producing considerable stress. You're really looking for independence and freedom from any restriction and therefore avoiding any obligations or anything which might prove hampering. You are being subjected to considerable pressures and you would like nothing better than to escape from them but you tend to lack the necessary strength of purpose to succeed in this. Whichever way you turn you are being frustrated. You need to be free to do your 'thing' in your own way.

You are anxious about all the limitations to which you are subjected to at this time. You feel that you are not valued for what or who you are. You need OUT. So why procrastinate any longer - MOVE!

Oh dear...

Got a complain from a friend about my MSN...apparently i did not read some of his msg cuz my msn went bonkers...wahaha...my friend was pretty frustrated abt it...sob sob...sorry, i din mean not to read ur msg...

Think and think and think...
1) MSN could be too popular and the network too overwhelmed...there are even times when i could not log on cuz server busy (i dun know but that's the error msg i was given)
2) The stupid wireless connection at home is not very good...especially during the so called "peak hours". On top of that, my home pc and my laptop is connected thru the same router.
3) My laptop wireless reception is faulty but couldn't be cuz my MSN connection at office has no problems
4) My sisters sometimes uses my laptop so they could have signed out of MSN thus missing the messages...for this to happen, timing have to be perfect...haha
5) I'm running bittorrent on my laptop which could cause a bit of problem on the network...actually dun think this is the problem cuz my home pc dun run bittorrent but get the network problem once in a while
6) I use msn messenger in office or over the wkend and uses window messenger at home. window messenger might have problems...maybe la. anyway usage of window messenger has it's limitations. No choice cuz it will save me from changing the proxy setting of msn mesenger everyday.

Well the above are the reasons i could think of. (2) has the highest probability...will try to do something abt it ok...so pls dun get angry with me anymore ok... :-)

Actually not only my friend, I am also damn frustrated abt it. Sometimes the network is just so fast and smooth sailing...sometimes it's just keep going on & off...well, the problems is usually in the night...now must try to work it out...
