Goodbye 2006...Hello 2007...
So fast and 2006 will be gone soon...in fact in another 10 hours as I am blogging...we can kiss 2006 goodbye...

Today went church in the morning and joined my choir members for breakfast...these things are the little pleasures in my life which i swear never to take for granted in 2007...relaxing day cuz i no need to teach today as the tuition centre are closed today...but later gotta go out...to a friend housewarming party...
Have you watch any drama recently?
I'm now obsessed with this jap drama "one litre of tears"...it's a real life story about this girl who had this illness "Spinocerebellar degeneration"...this illness will cause one to lose all motor skills including eating and speaking...the actual girl in real life fought this disease for 10 years before she died at 25...so sad...but i think the saddest and scariest part about this illness is that the mind is very very alert and sane but the patient just simply cannot even move a muscle...i guess it's easier if the patient loses his or her mind so that they would not feel the pain and despair...
oh...the songs inside the drama also very very nice...i especially like the way how they change the song "Sangatsu kokonoka" into choral style...if anyone out there interested in the drama, u can catch it on youtube...before i end off, i enclose the clip for "Sangatsu kokonoka" for your viewing...enjoy!

Finally back to do some blogging...away from blogger for a very long time...hahaha...just wanna say i am stil alice and kicking and am still on planet Earth...
A lot has happened...wahaha..."best" part of this period was that I was sick for most part of December...it always hits me when the weather change...just look at my record at the clinic and u will see that i visit the clinic almost every december...hehe...especially this year, it seems to be an exceptionally wet December...see doctor three times then I recover...first week of December go see doctor was given anti-biotics and some other medicine...second time doctor say no need anti-biotics since it is not so serious and it is no good to take too much anti-biotics so give me other medicine...alamak...still dun work...so choice, christmas performance coming up so went see doctor 3rd time, 6 days before christmas performance...this time doctor say not good so need to give me anti-biotics and some other stronger medicine but she say got side effects like gastric, trembling hands...but at least by Friday i have more or less recovered...
Since the start of October our choir has been busy preparing for Christmas performance...choir practice was made twice a week...and on the week before christmas, monday to thurs was practically in church every evening...wondering why so many days?
Monday was practice for christmas...i was pratically coughing most of the time so i din really sing...actually doctor gave me MC on that day...hee hee...that day was raining so heavily on my way back that the big drains were flooded...suddenly felt so pathetic while trying to hail a cab by the roadside...
Tuesday was suppose to be penetential service but i din go as i was having slight fever...think must be the anti-biotics i taking...
Wednesday another practice for christmas...and thursday full dress reharsal...thursday full-dress reharsal was so exciting...and after that mingled around with everyone one who came to watch the reharsal cuz we prepared food for everyone...so funny that day...one of our choir member her daughter keep on "sticking" to me...but she is so cute, will try to upload the photos when i get my hands on it ok...
Finally on sunday...Christmas Eve liao...felt so sick when I woke up...die liao...eat the medicine for 2-3 days not much side effects but today the side effects manifested...felt like vomitting...thinking to myself tonight still got christmas performance and midnight mass...how to tahan...anyway I still gotta go to the tuition centre and teach first after going church in the morning...LL from my tuition centre was so sweet, she saw me unwell and immediately went to pharmacy to buy me carbon tablets...feel like kissing her but too bad I not lesbian..wahahaha...
the tablets did work, by 4pm i felt at least 10 times better than in the morning...after 6pm rush home to wash up, take dinner and then go to church...reach church befor 8pm and immediately start to change and make up. By 9.30pm I was ready and sat down on the chair...but dunno why i suddenly felt so tired and dozed off on the chair...most probably its because of the medicine i took...
most of us were alrightas time draws near...we became more and more nervous...finally the time...by 10.45pm we were all waiting in the little room preparing to go out...
11.10pm : SHOWTIME!
Starting felt bit disoriented...dunno why...did the same thing so many time during practice but i dunno why only this time, on the actual day i a bit off in the beginning...luckily, all i can say the whole performance went very smoothly...we finished before midnight and went up the choir loft for midnight mass...the mass ended around 1.30am...and i think we all pass our sleeping time and all are very high after the mass...haha...
i reached home around 2am and was zzz by 2.30am...sis not wake up until around 10am...hee hee...
